BIO
My name is Andrea Bissoli and I am a 22 year old student of the joint Cyber Security MSc at EPFL and ETH Zürich.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer
Engineering at the University of Trento,
being part of Collegio Clesio and completing an
Erasmus exchange at TUM.

SUI blockchain Hackathon Honorable Mention
EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland. September 2025
My team won the Honorable Mention prize at the SUI blockchain hackathon organized by the Blockchain Student Association at EPFL. The hackathon focused on building innovative solutions on the SUI blockchain. Find out more about our project here.
SWERC 2024 Participation

Participated in the Southwestern European Regional Contest (SWERC) 2024 as part of the University of Trento team. SWERC is one of the most important competitive programming contests in Europe, bringing together top student programmers from various universities.
Olicyber Bronze Medal
ONU International Training Centre, Turin, Italy. May 2022
The high-school cybersecuity national competition where me and 100 students from all over Italy faced off in a 7-hour long CTF challenge upon different security aspects, including web, cryptography, networks and reverse engineering.
Cyberchallenge National Finalist
University of Verona, Verona, Italy. June 2021
The cybersecurity project where high-school and university students first compete at each Italian university to select a 6-person team, and then all teams battle in the Attack/Defence national final. I was 2° place at the University of Verona (the only high-school student in the team) and participated to the national final among 33 universities.
Italian Olympiad in Informatics Bronze Medal
Online. December 2020
The Italian high-school competition focused on algorithmic problem solving. It is composed of a school selection, a regional selection and the national final. The final was held online because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
